TURKS AND CAICOS

This grouping of islands is simply referred to as "Beautiful by Nature". The Turks and Caicos are uncrowded and unforgettable.

There are 30 plus islands in all but only 5 are inhabited making these islands uncrowded and unforgettable. The Turks and Caicos are a British Crown Colony and began self-governing in 1976.
Eco-tourists relish in the unspoiled wildlife. Endangered rock iguanas can be seen roaming the beach in Little Water Cay.
The island of Providenciales---'Provo' for short--- is known as a resort island with a population of almost 10,000. Here you will find luxury hotels, a casino, vast restaurants, shopping and golf. You will also find the Caicos Conch Farm, the only conch farm in the world.
The Turks and Caicos National Museum features what may be the oldest shipwreck in the Americas---dating back to 1513. Archaeologists are beginning to study the early Indian settlements of Conch Bar Caves on Middle Caicos, while historians debate if Christopher Columbus' first stop was on Grand Turk.
 Experience every adventure the water has to offer: off, on and under the sea. Cockburn Town, the capital found on Grand Turk, is a favorite for fishing and diving.
